Emma McGuire

Emma McGuire is a singer, vocal educator, and performer based in Central Queensland, holding a Master of Music Studies in Vocal Pedagogy from Griffith University. Living and performing with endometriosis, and navigating the complex relationship between pain, the body, and performance, has led her to develop a strong interest in holistic approaches to vocal training, with a particular focus on the relationship between physical health, nervous system function, breath and pressure management, and sustainable vocal performance. She is currently collaborating with clinicians to explore this emerging area of research.
