The Singer Summit - 2021
Our three-day virtual event brought over 20 speakers to our attendees. We centered this event on the A-Z, from vocal health to negotiating a contract and everything in between. Beyond vocal performance, we focused on mastery of marketing, branding, relationship-building, and much more.
The Voiceover Summit 2021
The first virtual event focused entirely on voice actors, The Voiceover Summit was an exciting, informative and invigorating launch for VO actors from around the world. Co-hosted by Cissy Jones, The Svara Project team created this inaugural event to serve the VO community.
(Virtual!) Vocal Education Event - 2020
COVID-19 and the resultant shutdown forced us to convert our 2020 meeting virtual. Mindy and Reena moved the meeting to a digital platform, which increased attendees to include 26 countries worldwide. The 4-day virtual event brought in top scientists, coaches, and artists from around the world. Funds from tickets were donated to MusiCares to support artists who lost income and due to cancelled performances. The team also created their first work-for-hire project to support musicians through a worldwide casting call in a moving production of The Distance You Have Come by Scott Alan.
Vocal Education Event - 2019
The fifth year was marked by our evolution into a three-day, fully-immersive event. Attendees explored topics from safe screaming to vocal yoga while networking and meeting thought leaders in voice. Attendees flew in from all over the world to attend our meeting in sunny Hollywood, CA.
Vocal Education Event - 2018
The fourth vocal education team run by The Svara Project team gathered together experts from all areas of professional singing voice, featuring medical experts whose specialties affect vocalists.
Vocal Education Event - 2017
The third year highlighted separate tracks in vocal training, with attendees selecting coursework in performance optimization, sight singing, pilates, vocal health, and more.
