In this experiential session, attendees will explore a surprising possibility: that the relationship between the feet, pelvis, and the ground can influence vocal coordination all the way through the vocal tract. This interactive workshop introduces a bottom-up, fully embodied approach to voice teaching and learning that combines contemporary Fascia research, Biotensegrity, Complexity Theory, and Nonlinear Pedagogy to explore the remarkable ways living systems organize themselves effortlessly.
Through simple guided experiments, participants will feel the invisible forces that flow upward from the ground throughout the body influencing vocal tract coordination, efficiency and economy of action, as well as somatic unification. Rather than focusing on directing specific outcomes or perceptions of correctness, this session demonstrates how teachers can encourage exploration and discovery while still supporting meaningful vocal goals.
Attendees will leave with practical, ready-to-use strategies that cultivate curiosity, embodied awareness, and greater joy in voice teaching & learning.
